                 Visionary Projections

         Our department has a long-standing developmental history and complete study curriculum programs. Over the years, though, it has provided numerous students with excellent learning environment and enabled them to secure best career opportunities. Since educating administrative management personnel appears to be no easy, plus pluralistic vicissitudes of social environment, the department has in recent years gradually expanded its curriculum scope by focusing on research and integration of the three phases of public administration: theory, practice, and techniques. We intend to provide students with more comprehensive assistance and better learning environment in the course of our constant improvements and hard efforts. Therefore, in the coming three years, the department will set about from the following threefold to improve the integration of theory with practice. First, in theoretical aspect, we will add more courses on administrative institutions, public policy, management science, and human resources management, etc. Second, in practical aspect, more weight will be put on case analysis and problem solving in administrative management practices. And third, in technical aspect, more emphases will be devoted to the reinforcement of information management, scientific administrative management, quantitative analysis skills, and institutional automation. Besides strengthening faculty abilities and adding extra curriculum courses, realization of the aforementioned developmental dimensions will also be facilitated by way of holding academic speeches, seminars, and organizational internships and visits, and so forth. In view of social trends and the need of our nation’s development, we are looking forward to the design and establishment of the Administrative Management Research Institute.
