Dear Teachers,
We are going to celebrate Earth Day (April 22), followed by Earth
Week on Campus Teach-in (April 28 – May 2) with many
various activities, including planting a tree. Among the activities
is a teach-in whereby we hope teachers from disciplines across
the curriculum – science, art, sociology, politics, engineering,
and philosophy – will talk about the need to change our lifestyle
for the sake of global warming and climate change in their classes.
Attached please find the participation form and a list of suggested
topics on global warming/climate change for various fields of discipline.
There will be other resources and information distributed to teachers
in the coming week. Please be so kind as to fill out this participation
form and email it back to your teaching assistant.
Thank you for your cooperation.
