四月二十二日我們將慶祝地球日，接著舉辦校園地球週 Teach-in (April 28 – May 2) ，屆時有多項活動，包括植樹等。

在各項活動中，我們希望透過不同系的老師以各自專業的觀點，在課堂上和學生討論為因應地球暖化和氣候改變所必須改變的生活方式。我們將附上有關網址，提供不同領域的相關主題或資訊給老師參考。其他資訊近期也會寄給老師。

有意參加者，請填寫附寄的相關表格，並請於 4 月 24 日前傳給各系助教。

Dear Teachers,

We are going to celebrate Earth Day (April 22), followed by Earth Week on Campus Teach-in (April 28 – May 2) with many various activities, including planting a tree. Among the activities is a teach-in whereby we hope teachers from disciplines across the curriculum – science, art, sociology, politics, engineering, and philosophy – will talk about the need to change our lifestyle for the sake of global warming and climate change in their classes.

Attached please find the participation form and a list of suggested topics on global warming/climate change for various fields of discipline. There will be other resources and information distributed to teachers in the coming week. Please be so kind as to fill out this participation form and email it back to your teaching assistant.
